Someone I know who is involved with the military just told me that The DOD (Pentagon) has just ordered a halt to all transition work with the Biden Team. I believe she is telling me the truth but let's wait for confirmation.

@Dodgerprincess Unless you are a sociopath or suffer from a severe mental illness, having a child transforms everything. You are permanently invested in the future of the world and your level engagement will never be the same.IMO no accident that Macron, Merkel and May are childless. Had this conversation with one of my sons and he opined that being a parent should be a prerequisite for all high office. I think there is a lot to be said for that.

Morning all, I hope it's OK to bring this up, if not, please let me know. In the past few days, I read comments on other forums ostensibly from attorneys and/or people with legal training, who were of the opinion that the use of military tribunals to try individuals that violated the EO on foreign interference in a domestic election would definitely not be an option (the EO that has been discussed widely as of late). I believe it was discussed that they could be officially designated "enemy combatants" and tried accordingly. IIRC, I believe it was said that Americans that had collaborated with the Nazis were so tried and several were executed.

@Debradelai With respect, the party platforms are certainly quite different. I think the point being made was that most elected "members" of those parties don't give a rat's patootie about their party platforms. They are about money and power (their own money and power), exclusively. And there is really no "partial" about this, you're either all-in or you're not.

@REX FWIW I agree about the timing. The entire opposition is pulling a gigantic Baghdad Bob attm. This probably won't totally wrap up until the inauguration.On the other hand, I think the folks behind the resistance are the same ones behind worldwide central banking. POTUS will take them out during his second term, like Andrew Jackson did to our second Central Bank. They are going down, but it won't be without a fight.

Read on another site that Rudy G. just said on Newsmax that Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin state legislatures want their electoral ballots for Biden returned to them for de-certification and they wish to re-certify their electoral ballots for Trump. That's 57 electoral votes. Trump 289 and Biden 249. I don't have a link to the clip and hope this is accurate, not trying to spread false information.

@Debradelai Saul, your premise harkens back to the great discussions about whether or not God exists and involves himself in the affairs of humans, predestination vs. free choice, etc.A toot does not lend itself to a deep dive into these issues, so I won't go there. Suffice it to say that for those of us that believe God is up to something (and that every hair on our heads is numbered), it's not about Trump the man. @ThomasWic I just wanted to respectfully suggest that you may be conflating forgiving with remaining enmeshed. Forgiving does not require you to make yourself available for abuse. Forgiving involves renouncing ill will towards your brother for his issues, which frees you to truly separate from him, wish him well, and be at peace.
