@Wormwood Foreigners love bitching about the purported racism of Japan. The time I spent living there was my political awakening. It's not even really "racism" it's more like "everything has it's place". There's places where even Japanese can't go because they don't fit the criteria for belonging there. Like even a native Japanese person will get turned away from some bars or bathhouses because it's a neighborhood business for the people in that neighborhood.

Yeah, fuck the whole cartelization of the medical industry. There's a certain kind of shoe insert I need to walk without pain and the only place I can get it from is an orthopedic doctor by prescription. Never mind the manufacturer makes OTC inserts by the dozens, never mind said special insert is basically one of the OTC models made from a harder plastic, nope gotta go see and pay the doc to get that shit every six months.

A couple of decades ago he had some sort of personal crisis, and went to a synagogue for help and he was turned away because he was of a secular background and of Ashkenazi descent when that synagogue was Sephardic. The Orthodox Christians took him in.He's kind of crazy, doesn't follow the orders of any bishop and the scuttlebutt is that he sometimes relapses into homosexual sin, but he's certainly interesting.

@jerkdouglas @dj @coded_artist That's actually the reality of it. The highway was made back in the 1920s, when cars were a lot slower. Hence it's super curvy and dangerous to drive faster than 25 mph in certain spots in the countryside, particularly when it's rainy or in the sections with no lights during night, but most people do so anyways. The highway took out four people in my high school class in three separate accidents, first dead body I ever saw was a motorcyclist who hit a rock when I was riding home from school. Parts of it is literally falling into the ocean too.
