@webcomictalk Same as with fanart -- if your readers are writing fanfiction, and/or getting invested in the ships, that's an honor and a huge compliment to the creator.Unlike with fanart, I do ask people *not* to send me unsolicited links to their fic. It feels weirder and more invasive to have the creator looking over your shoulder with writing than with art. But I endorse the general idea!Bonus note: it's a bad look for creators to try policing what specific ships/plots/ideas fans should write about. If your work gets any level of popularity, at some point it's going to be interpreted and reimagined in ways you don't like! You've gotta just make your peace with that. And if there are specific kinds of fanart/fic that are going to squick you out on sight...don't look for them.#webcomics #WebcomicTalk
