@fkq1q2r2 I would bet that focus is on the death penalty vs self defense. Catechism of the catholic church says in the modern day, death penalty isn't justified when you have the means to keep them away from the rest of society.

@fkq1q2r2 Do you really think someone is thinking they may get the death penalty when they decide to do something that would earn them that? They know its either death penalty or life in prison. Both suck. Life in prison may actually be worse depending on age.

Looking for recommendations. Have always kept my gun in my nightstand for quick and easy access. Have a baby coming soon. I need to lock it up now, but want something that still has quick, nearby access. Also have a rifle ill need to lock up, but dont really want multiple safes either. Any suggestions?

@EvolLove I think they have always been that way. They are producing so much now that its impossible to miss it. I remember watching house of cards and orange is the new black, some of their first shows. Both those shows had the gays and teannies in it. I dont think daredevil did. I wonder if marvel studios didn't allow it at that time. Still one of the best marvel TV shows they've made.

@EvolLove yeah they did. But that would just be other studio's movies. Then they made streaming for these shows and movies. Then they started making their own after that. The 3 I mentioned I watched were in their first 10 shows they produced themselves. I dont think the House of Cards stuff started until a few seasons in. I can't comment on the other 7 shows.
