I built a 3d model of the solar system showing every asteroid we knew about at the time. You can explore it here. If you have a reasonable graphics card it might work ok. My laptop gets about 9fps, my desktop gets limited to 60fps.https://parsecsreach.com/orbviewer/

Just realized something, this things big advantage isn't the horizontal scaling of the servers and infrastructure. Its the horizontal scaling of the moderation.According to the numbers I can find twitter used to have about 1500 people doing moderation. With about 10k instances in the fediverse, even if they average at one moderator per instance that's still a crap load more people doing moderation than on twitter.

@tinker honestly one of the ones I had printed out on my desk at work for years. Till I lent it to a colleague and it got destroyed when a pipe burst over his desk.
