@mhjohnson @SirDHSlammer @furgar @AdamAtSea I wasn't explicitly citing the image in the SO post as my question, but the properties of a flame's interaction with light. I'm having trouble understanding why the power of the source light (inside lighting vs sunlight) would be a factor if something does or does not cast a shadow. I would assume the the higher power and radius of the source light, the more light there would be to curve around the subject, reducing shadow.

@SirDHSlammer @mhjohnson @furgar @AdamAtSea Yeah if there's any explanation other than CG I'd assume it would be the propellant. I'm admittedly biased towards space exploration of any sort being a hoax, but am open to that as a possible solution to this otherwise unlikely shadow. :)

@BoredStupid @Zyra Never said there wasn't a use case for multiple devices. Just that the phrase "Apple does spy on you far less than Google." is true in as far as you trust Apple. They're both trash companies and alternatives exist where you don't have to deal with poor design choices like the keyboard changes between phone and tablet that you mentioned.

So Gettr's UX seems very similar to Mastodon except without the primary benefit of decentralization. 🤔🤔🤔 Won't be making an account. Not interested in yet another centralized social platform putting control in the hands of only a few.
