       @honeymango First, I’d suggest she talk to her profs. It’s a good habit for a student to develop and they’ll have solid suggestions. Second, there are local “citizen science” groups or “maker spaces” with fun projects and working labs . Counter Culture Labs (Oakland)and BioCurioua (South Bay) contribute to the Open Insulin project and have opportunities for students.
