@modpod yes. I only asked because that was the most likely thing that could be wrong, and I didn't see whether you were root or user when you tried fsck. What distro? On my debian fsck is in /usr/sbin. Try it with the complete path maybe. P.S. I'm new on mastodon and haven't found out how to view the whole thread yet. So if you've solved it, I apologize.

@modpod I found how to open the whole thread. I see you are on Debian. But I have no other ideas. --Ed

@modpod typing "printenv" will show you all the environment variables including the path.

@modpod ps. you can add to the path in your .bashrc file. For example this:PATH="$HOME/OneDrive/bin:$PATH" adds my local bin directory to root's path. I forgot why I did that, but I just picked it out of root's .bashrc as an example. So as root, you can edit root's .bashrc file and append or prepend /usr/sbin. - However, the question is why it isn't there to begin with. - I don't know.

@MMS I think gnus will do rss feeds (search for "emacs does gnus do rss) -> https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/GnusRss and there are rss feeds for mastodon hashtags and individuals. I haven't tried it on gnus yet, but I know I have hashtags from mastodon in elfeed.
