       @barrygoldman1 @futurebird I’ve had dragonflies use me as bait. They’d hang out on pocosin shrubs near where I was doing slow, painstaking plant measurements and then would zoom in to nab the mosquitoes I’d attracted.

       @futurebird So cool! My mom loved red hats. She always wore a felt red hat and was completely annoyed with the idea that the GOP had commandeered the color. I could have inherited those red hat (the color looks good on me, too), but I just couldn’t bring myself to wear them. Reading this, I wish I’d kept one.
