@Ismat I used to think of it a lot like religious titles. I don't believe in religion. I generally think religion is nonsense. That being said, I'll call someone father or rabbi or pastor or whatever as a courtesy if I don't have a particularly good reason not to.They're trying to legislate their beliefs. I'm not going to do anything that increases its legitimacy. I don't believe it, and since they're trying to force me to, I'm not going to play along. We have too much to lose. We don't need to be courteous while they strip away women's rights.

Does anyone remember when Ohio wanted to force doctors to try to reimplant ectopic pregnancies? I had an ectopic pregnancy. It was a very wanted pregnancy. I was in severe denial that there was nothing that could be done. It turns out that the embryo had very poor blood supply, so it was weeks from when we first discovered something was wrong until they could definitively say that it was an ectopic pregnancy.I was hopeful the whole time. Wasn't there something they could do?There wasn't.It was traumatizing.I wish all manner of ills on those smug male lawmakers. May they rot from the inside out.

@operaghost I read the article @HebrideanHecate posted, and I did a quick search for how I could get money to those girls to help them with their work and educations. I didn't find anything, but I did find a lot of charities with similar goals. I'm just not sure how to make sure they're actually using the money to help girls.
