       @futurebird If the problem is people fear-mongering about ghosts and people afraid of ghosts, you can't just say "I'm not going to do anything about ghosts". You need to figure out how to convince people that there are no ghosts.

       @futurebird it's a moral panic. he could have found these detail with google or at the library. he could have found people that would encourage and validate his choice. it happens all the time.expecting LLM to somehow magically stop him is seeing it as some kind of self-aware powerful entity, and not the automatic tool it is.

       @futurebird we see less people day to day. Everything is handled by (bad) automatic systems. It makes people afraid.When you are alone everything is smooth. The world is your own to manipulate. The biggest fear you can have is pushback.

       @futurebird turn around the page? we learn about these type of triangles with the not-equal side parallel to the bottom of the page, some people may have a problem turning it in their heads and "seeing" it's the same thing

       @futurebird Some of those things just refuse to go away. I remember reading in St Augustine (of all places...) a disproving of Astrology, and thinking how absurd it is that it was debunked 1500 (-ish) years ago, and still people believe in it
