@quad Why is this categorically a bad thing? Couldn't this allow for more economic internet connections to be established in remote areas? I'd imagine that a laser-/microwave-link to a cell-tower would be a lot easier to construct than laying fiber across the countryside.

Nur mal als kleiner Abgleich: Der NABU schätzt, dass jährlich in Deutschland 70 millionen (!!!!) Vögel von Autos weggeklatscht werden. Eine Studie hat 12 Wochen lang bei 4,5% aller Windkraftanlagen in DE insgesamt 291 tote Vögel gezählt.
