@josh or, hear me out, SWITCH DISTROS! Manjaro -literally- just DELAYS releasing package updates for, and I paraphrase, STABILITY REASONS, which should tell you everything about the devs (hint: they're fucking retarded). The whole setup&install procedure will take a couple hours, most of which will be you restoring things from backups, and you will have a better, more up-to-date, stabler distribution and a not shit Linux experience as a result.

@mona Flowers for Algernon, fiction, excellently written diary of a retard who undergoes treatment which temporarily makes him a genius;Strugatsky Brothers' novels that you can find in English, sci-fi, capturing well the hopes for a socialist utopian space-exploring society that never materialized;Ambergris, Shriek and Finch novels, esoteric psychological mushroompunk;The Upward Spiral, a quick rundown on various mechanisms of the human brain that are involved with depression, and tips on reversing it;The Name of the Rose, historical fiction, a detective novel for medieval nerds, would recommend on its own;The Minds of Billy Milligan, a fascinating account of a confirmed MPD patient's life;Dune (the first one, if you haven't already);Accelerando, sci-fi, incomprehensible foray into the near and distant future via digital human supremacy (pretty fun but sometimes strange);Spider Robinson's God is an Iron, si-fi short, just fucking 👌;Down and Out in Paris and London, fiction (?), well written.I've mostly read fiction; just starting with psychology slash philosophy, so can't recommend something that would be easy to pick up regardless of literary preferences. The books above, though, should be enjoyable to most. Particularly outstanding were Flowers and Minds, if you'd like a suggestion where to begin.
