He was considered an "unskilled but likeable" artist. He's improved considerably as an artist. But if you actually look at his work, it still bears a lot of the hallmarks of "bad anatomy" or other artistic mistakes. But people masturbate to the pictures he draws because, bluntly, his work is frequently charged with erotic energy.Like this.tl;dr - Walling yourself off from "poor" art ultimately reduces the amount of feelings you can experience from art.
