       It is quite interesting to see how mastodon and pleroma, although being very similar in principle, have very different communities.From what I've seen so far, mastodon instances tend to have quite a bit of rules on content moderation and banning "hateful" speech, while here most intances have basically any speech allowed as long as it's not illegal, and sometimes some additional small rules, such as proper nsfw tagging.Unsurprisingly seeing that, there is an enormous amount of leftist activist communities on mastodon, and even non-activist communities tend to lean much more left-wing.

       Elon musk conducting a poll to see if Trump was reinstated shows firstly a complete disregard for the objectivity of twitter moderation, since it is supposed to be based on actual facts not the users' feelings. But it also shows a lack of determination, ultimately the decision was his but he was too scared to make it on his own

       @sjw @thecurse Her attempts didn't even fail due to lack of skill but lack of intelligence. First she tried to enter the parking space driving forward, when there was nowhere near enough space for that, then she didn't even try to line the car properly to enter in reverse, and when entering, she continued turning until she was almost at a 90° angle to where she wanted to end up in; one doesn't need experience to know that it isn't going to work if they go that far back
