@lowqualityfacts The fact is that something strange has happened people. There is no hope for our species as grim as that is to think about. There was a time when I thought we were in a good place but that light died out. May as well just get on and have a good time because whatever is it that happened to those people is spreading. No point searching for reason in a world of chaos.

@m3t00 @qwertzalotl @darwinwoodka @cstross @Dwinle @SecularJeffrey @lednabm @Remittancegirl When my Dad was stationed in West Germany he and a friend told one of their other friends that they knew a secret way across the border, and they would take him into East Germany for a night of drinking. So they blindfolded him so he couldn't tell anyone else and then just stayed in West Germany and went out and got steaming drunk. The guy to this day thinks they crossed over to go drinking.

All they did was walk around a couple of streets with this blindfolded guy and then just went to a local bar or two. It remains one of the funniest stories I've ever heard. They swore him to secrecy. Great picture mate. Following in the steps of Napoleon.

@lowqualityfacts Chris Brown once ran into me in a sort of outdoor food party thing in Barbados. Apparently he was trying to catch up with some people and ran through a gate and went face first into my shoulder. He fell back on his arse, he was wobbling for a minute then he apologised and walked off. I had no idea it was him. I don't think I'd knowingly ever seen his face before that day. My wife knew who it was. I googled him back at the hotel and sure enough it was him.
