Had a dream about a "medieval" comic / manga called "Queen of a Hundred." Young lady (in a convent?) discovers she's the last, distant hereditary heir of a river island between two much larger rival kingdoms. Both want the island, she has to protect the independence of her 100 subjects while keeping them fed.On the way there she imagines a gleaming white fairy tale palace, but when she gets there it's just a practical stone fort.Her household guard is one retired mercenary and his son.
