I can't help but think. How hard would it be to convert a vehicle to use harvested methane gas as opposed to gasoline and how well would it work? I know propane conversion is a thing and the characteristics between the two gases are similar. I think it might be possible to never buy a gallon of gas again.

Raspberry Pi 4These are my Raspberry Pi 4 and 400 resources that I have collected. I imagine this will likely be somewhat of a messy disarray of digital scribbles for some time. Feel free to pile on anything that may be helpful. For the most part if I refer to the 400, I also mean the 4 as well.General PurposeThis is my section for any general purpose computing images built for the Pi 4 platform.https://cubiclenate.com/hardware/raspberry-pi/pi4/#Hardware #Linux #RaspberryPi

In order to play many multimedia formats, online or offline, within #openSUSE, you will have to install the appropriate codecs. This is a video to accompany the process. This works for #Leap and #Tumbleweed.https://youtu.be/7weBCq2r9Ec

@DestinationLinux I love the competition. I was worried for a while that Intel would stop being the powerhouse it has been. Good for them for working that much harder!

If, by chance, you didn't watch the last #LinuxSaloon on Saturday, we had a #DistroExploration of @opensuse #Leap 15.4. Although I have been running openSUSE for over 11 years as my primary distro, I learned of some new reasons why it is awesome.https://youtu.be/HejPzBYSExk

Kmail Message List TabsKmail has been my email application for almost 20 years. Even before I started using openSUSE I have been happily using this email application. I find it to be the most feature rich of all the email management applications and far better than any web client I have ever used. I can shape the layout just the way I like it. I have spent a lot of time over the years tweaking it to thhttps://cubiclenate.com/2022/09/30/kmail-message-list-tabs/#Applications #KDEPlasma

@rewarp It is a sweet feature. I can't say I want to ever do with out it, so long as email exists. I also use the favorites folder but often I want to jump between the various inboxes quickly. I have generally sorted something down in a message list and don't want to lose that.I'm glad Kmail has been working well for you! I'm glad that the akonadi pain points have been worked out.

@rewarp I think I was bit by that same bug. @opensuse Tumbleweed folks quickly rolled something back in the software to fix this along with how to roll that single offending package back. I am grateful for awesome people in the open source world!

Lingot | Musical Instrument Tuner on openSUSEI like to dabble around in playing instruments, I am, by no means, a musician but doing a little noodling around from time to time can be quite gratifying. In my younger years, I did enjoy playing more than one instrument, today, I am taking on some new challenges, nothing crazy, I just happen to want to play the bass guitar. @Mac_CZ Indeed! That is why I suggested using OPI to install it. Not obscure at all, totally awesome to use OPI to install @openSUSE software

@Mac_CZ I know that the point and click method is very common but the OPI tool is super exciting and easy to use. If only it had a nice GUI... 🤔

@Big_Diggity My main computer is assembled by me. It is a Commodore 64 Impostor with an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and 32 GiB of RAM running @opensuse Tumbleweed. I built a companion device for it with additional storage, USB, memory card readers and SATA. This is my favorite, EVER, computer setup I have EVER had... EVER. #openSUSE

@EU_Commission Yeah? I'd really like to see some sort of peace agreement. Not a fan of being pushed into WW3.

Arguably the best of the #Descent series has been freed to the #opensource which means a new life for this entry into the franchise. This game was the pinnacle of #3D #FPS #gaming and maybe still is. #Linuxhttps://cubiclenate.com/2024/04/30/descent-3-freed-to-open-source/

@frameworkcomputer Knowing that you are continuing to grow, expand and produce rock-solid products is such great news. I am glad I have taken a chance on you purchasing the VAST majority of laptops from you for replacements and company expansion.
