@xChaos @johnmacintosh It's one of those 'AI generated 'subliminal' images' but I can't work out what the subliminal part is supposed to say other than assuming the red/white coat is an 'e', maybe if I was on mobile

@lowqualityfacts I've been watching this for 10 minutes now, and neither of you have blinked, so I conclude that you're both *really* just AI in a flesh suit.

@lowqualityfacts This is acually regionally divergent. For example, in scotland to qualify as a lake it must be spelt incorrectly.

@lowqualityfacts They're also allowed to drink any drink by their sponsors, even if alcoholic, without triggering DUIAlthough since this mostly means 'american piss water', it doesn't really matter much anyway.

@lowqualityfacts It's true, I sleep on my stomach and never have spider nightmares.Granted, if I sleep on my back I don't have any either, but the maths still checks out.

@ProfessorGumby @j @me There's also a psychological effect where you brain essentially stops writing memories of things it considers mundane repetitive tasks that you do frequently. Hence the feeling of things like 'I drove home on autopilot and have no recollection of anything on the trip'As I remember it, you can break this effect by explicitly noting things during the repetition and either telling someone else or writing a journal that forces you to use the memories.

@halfbyte The irony is, apart from android we DO have european equivalents to everything google do.We even had a european alternative to android until MS ruined Nokia.

@stux They can't even pronounce it and you expect them to understand complex concepts like being against something that devalues other people?

@ricci @dan 10base2 was inarguably easier to deal with, but you know, slooooow

@ricci @dan although there was a kind of cosmic simplicity about routing 10base5 and just using vampiric drop points where you needed, but it was too pricey for me.

@futurebird Also, I suspect anyone that has ever spent any time on a building site, should know to ALWAYS be vigilant whenever around any hydraulic machinary - spiders included

@futurebird We had a regular appearance cellar spider in our bathroom (the vent is broken, so they come and go via the big pipe inside the vent), who was absolutely awful at anchoring whenever she went walkabout, and would regularly forget, then walk close to the active shower and get blown off the wall or ceiling.Sadly a few weeks ago I turned on the shower to see her corpse wash out from under the bathmat, so she's anchoring in spider-heaven now.
