@atomicpoet @testing it might exist as part of the fediverse, but that means nothing to 99.9 percent of the world. To everyone else mastodon is the federated social media service. If they’re even aware of it at all.

@atomicpoet so you don’t like companies, unfortunately everything is a company these days. You can choose not to play in their pool, but until recent Twitter was the best social media company in my opinion.

As someone who’s been on the site for more than a decade I definitely feel there’s still some positive influence that can be garnered.Helping share and boost the right information is always a positive. As my bio says “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

@atomicpoet I’m using the Spring app so I’m not contributing financially as I’m not seeing Twitters adverts. You can “protest” in your way but you can’t tell me that there’s no other way to fight for what’s right.

@ivory I’d like to request an enchantment for Ivory. When I reply to a post that’s deleted (I don’t know it’s deleted), Ivory will give me an error and when I retry it then fails and deletes my message. It would be great in that situation if it saved my message as a draft if it fails to send it, so I can recover it.
