@shibao @mia I may be very wrong, but I think the only "official" library would be libavcodec(?). But either way, having a library with the power of command-line FFmpeg would probably mean reimplementing a lot of stuff

@Paradox you'd have to preserve the info as to what number was dovided by 0. If x/0 is some constant it would break quite a lot of stuff, like 1 not being 2 -> https://www.math.toronto.edu/mathnet/falseProofs/first1eq2.html That "proof" relies on division by 0.(Spoiler: Step 2^3)

@binarycat no argument there, I love calculators that accurately preserve units :blobcat: just thought that might act as one more source of inspiration. I think Wolfram Alpha is doing that as well
