I would not vote for Kamala Harris, but she seems to have that political talent to say the thing people want to hear, without there being principles or evidence to complicate ideas. Unfortunately, this seems to be an important skill for building a political following. @alex

Trans people deserve civil rights. Women and girls deserve sex-based protections. We can achieve a world where both of things can happen. I’m seeing a lot of comments lately that imply trans people should be socially shunned or even subjected to violence—comments on this site, comments on Twitter.

I fight against all of that. I also can’t abide calling a group of people “freaks”. I have serious problems with a number of trans activists. Many of them are repugnant narcissists. I also have problems with the many institutions enabling the worst of this lot. But what I notice more and more that all trans people are being lumped into the same category of “freak”, and I’ll never endorse that kind of stereotyping. @MissScarlett

I’ve also given public interviews and talks saying that this is wrong. And I’ll do so again. But it’s dispiriting to spend energy and time promoting alternatives to transgender ideology when people hate you anyway. @TranimeGirl

I wanted to document its use, and I’d hoped that showing how it’s a term of abuse would deter it from gaining popularity. Everyone has civil rights. We should expect that everyone has their rights protected by law. I don’t know what you mean by “they” because to people who aren’t you and me, we’re in that category. And if you and I are honest, we could not offer a definition that realistically puts us in a separate category from anyone else who takes steps towards transition. You, me, and even Zinnia and all the rest, deserve not to be discriminated against for employment, housing, or access to public services, just like anyone else. We deserve to live our lives peacefully. If crimes are committed against us, we are entitled to justice. Not because we are trans, but we cannot be denied these things either just because we are trans. @TranimeGirl

I’m pretty accustomed to letting the rhetoric roll off. I think women are entitled to be angry about how gender ideology is rolling over the rights of women and girls. But I saw a comment this morning on Spinster that trans people are “creepy” and deserve to be fired from their jobs, and that really got under my skin. @ReSistingPink

I am human, like you are. When I hear dehumanizing, or even eliminationist language from *anybody* I can and will say I have a problem with it. As for telling TRAs anything, my name is Corinna Cohn and you can see for your own eyes that I’m sincere about delivering that message to transgender ideologues who exercise the same behavior. As a transsexual, as the descendant of Polish Jews, I absolutely will not stand for anybody telling me that I deserve to be erased from society or from the planet.
