No attempt at impartiality or objectivity, just "listen to what someone says, do cursory research for 30 minutes on Google and pump out a sob story." That is already enough to have your editor re-assign the task to someone else but these people aren't actually journalists or professionals, so they don't disclose that information prior.Which were then cited by two dozen outlets, who just made the assumption that the initial articles were done properly and didn't even bother to check, only so they could pump out their same sob stories for clicks.Keffals knows all this, too. They know this shit isn't credible and they don't give a fuck. The credibility of the publications histories make it appear credible and it preys on the sympathy of the public. That's the worst part. It's not that this person is stupid, it's that they aren't and they are predatory and malicious in their motivations. We're not fucking stupid, Lucas. You are transparent. As time goes on, that transparency will become more clear to the public as well.

They're smart and cautious, they get what they want because they know how squeeze people for worth.People like Lucas cannot help themselves, they will use people until there's nothing left, they'll cry victim if anyone calls them out and they'll just move on to the next person. They'll do this, over and over, until there is undeniably a pattern of abuse. The sympathy they garner can no longer be a shield that can be used. They'll be ostracized. They'll re-invent themselves, come back and pretend to be better or find another community to leech from, if they can.This is textbook stuff, seen people like this a dozen times before.

@Paulyfrog64 @LTJG_Pliskin People don't worry about things until shit hits the fan.There are a lot of skills that you need to learn to exist post-disaster. My father taught me how to sew wounds and clothing, can vegetables, prep light go-bags, proper bushcraft, tool maintenance. He wasn't even a paranoid man or right wing, he just wanted to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.I have routes and backup routes planned, a car outside of the city. I know how it looks, I look like a lunatic I'm sure but I don't have to care about the opinions of people who are dead.

So, I've run some sociological experiments and come away with some interesting insights. Kiwi Farms, above many, self-polices it's own cultural norms and behaviors aggressively and excellently. It's actually one of the few places on the internet that practices cultural exclusivity while maintaining a level of ideological inclusivity. You can be progressive on Kiwi Farms and even voice those opinions without much opposition, the focus is on adhering to the culture and linguistic behaviours, so much so that the primary rule when starting to use the forum is; "Please be quiet. Observe the cultural norms and standards, adhere to them basically, then attempt to interact."Many of the people who oppose Kiwi Farms have an ideological tenet that runs counter to how that works, wherein they will demand to be a part of any sub-culture with intentions to subvert it's cultural attitudes to match their own. It's intention, whether conscious or subconscious, is to achieve homogeneity, which is pretty ironic considering it's stated goal is diversity. Make no mistake, this is not meant to add diversity to the sub-culture, it is meant to replace the subculture with diversity for the sake of diversity. If the users are not taught to behave and think similarly, they will be driven out. Eventually, the sub-culture will collapse as there is nobody left who cares about it. I would almost liken this cultural practice to a metastasizing cancer, where it grows until it slowly kills the host.I'm very certain the reason, or largely one of the reasons, why a lot of people oppose Kiwi Farms so viciously is because initiating this conversion is impossible. Any attempt to subvert their sub-cultural behaviours is met with hostility immediately and there is no exception. If it can't be controlled or converted, they will cut it out and remove it.

There are many examples of this occurring in sub-cultures across the board over the past 10 years. This occurred with atheistic movements, certain sub-cultures of gaming enthusiasts, much of the comic industry (Though that's likely to embolden sales numbers that were at record lows for a decade,) I've heard tell of it happening in knitting sub-cultures (Very strange choice,) in modern parlance and in a lot of governmental bodies. Kiwi Farms is one, if not the only, notable exception because it refuses to "bend the knee."
