So it's said that some group called the 'Earthquake Faction' claimed responsibility for this hit on an Elbit Systems facility in Czechia.Elbit Systems is an Israeli company; avionics is one of their products, and I have been in one of their sites here stateside, having been given a tour some years back. At the time, they went to length to conceal their Israeli roots.The location we visited was in a very modern business park in a good part of town, and despite this, they had armed security both inside & outside the building, plus a shitload of surveillance cameras, doors that required card swipes to get through (including the bathrooms). Top security.I saw none of that in this video....unless this was an act was, of course, textbook 'jewish lightning' in an attempt to garner sympathy.I hope this hit was legit, but our paranoid friends in the funny hats have a very established history of playing 'Hey Rabbi.....Whatcha Doin?'

Designing wing flaps are a pain the ass.Slot gap too small or too big? You lose lift.Flap leading edge insufficient? They won't work.Sometimes, the engineer stumbles upon a paper whose writers did this very task on the very airfoil he's using....and it not be a flex of page after page of complex math. It is an interesting profession. A lot of it is very mundane by design; the spiciest maneuvers are the ones that evaluate the aeroelastic behavior of the machine, which are most often done at maximum design speed. There is obviously a build up sequence, but before we go about it in the real aircraft, we rehearse the maneuvers ad nauseum in the simulation environment, which often have very specific input magnitudes & frequencies, lest we accidently overstress the plane.I do lots of this stuff on light aircraft:
