       @Rasp we were eating outside at an Italian restaurant a few years back. One duck showed up, then another. Next it was like that film “The Birds” and we had a large group looking for treats. Tough looking little cuties

       @NanoRaptor there’s a fun story in “complexity: life at the edge of chaos” where a researcher would sit in line with his box of punch cards amongst the other folks waiting for computer time.  He needed a randomized order so he’d shuffle his cards, resulting in looks of horror from the others in line
