       @grammargirl No doubt American's are significantly less capable, in pretty much every way, than their predecessors. Just read a newspaper from 1900 or earlier. The words and phrases (prose) that are used are MILES above any of the garbage we get today from corporate print media.

       @fcktheworld587 @guffo Especially since, thanks to the idiotic Electoral College, we don't even have one-person-one-vote for POTUS.  Because of where I live my vote has never counted towards the candidate I voted for. Not once.
