July 11, 2025 @ 08:40 Good morning family & friends❣️ Not much going on here today I don't think but it depends on the weather. Supposed to be cool (upper 70s) but muggy with on and off rain and thunderstorms. I plan to take things as they come. I will joyfully share that I believe I have come to a turning point in my brain's healing process, as I was able to do a lot of things yesterday that I haven't been able to do for the last month (the gazebo attack was one month ago today), and was able to "use" my brain for more things; it's difficult to describe but I felt different for the first time yesterday than I have, and cognitive processes were smoother and less difficult; plus I didn't even fall asleep once. As always God's will be done, this is a huge praise to Him, the last few days I had begun to wonder... Anyway, we'll see what He has in store for today, I will try to do a Friday Funnies and see how that goes, and will see you later, have a GREAT day❣️✝️🎹🐕🦺🦜🙌🍅🥩🌿🤕🚌❤️

Sept 27, 2025 @ 11:08 Good morning family & friends❣️ As I typed the date I found it astounding that Sept is almost over already! It is a bright and sunny day in the low 80s and will be pretty nice out for the next week - right into October! (See below if you're reading this on my site.) I'm not even going to guess at what my day will be like, as I am usually wrong hahaha! Reminds me of Proverbs 16:1. Maisie is a little down today, and very needy. Not coughing, ate fine, but I think I will take her for a walk around the yard which usually cheers her up, and see if that helps. Not planning to go anywhere today but am planning - or hoping - to get 2 posts up, we'll see 🤷♀️. Also still working on the slow loading of this site but doubt I will get to that today. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, did get the "morning 3" done, and my meme hunting for today, and will visit my happy place shortly. I've been falling behind on things and this morning when I got up I just started getting to work without delay and have been, with a few short breaks to do the morning 3+1, continuing to accomplish what needs to be done. Sometimes I need to do things like that, in the mornings is my best time of day since my accident and I typically dedicate the majority of that time to this site. And that's why I've been falling behind on things around here. October 17, 2025 @ 20:23 Good evening family & friends❣️ Another rotation of the earth, and a day closer to Christ's return! I did take it easy today, no surprises, Pete helped me with the only really "heavy" thing I did: setting up my camera over my T5 so I can record for the blog again which involved a lot of lifting, bending, reaching, getting stuck, having to get unstuck, etc. I couldn't have done it without his help. Given all of the work I'm doing on songs these days I would like to record and share them; I haven't been able to record since we last rearranged the living room. Anyway, that whole ordeal left me ready for bed, and that's where I will be going shortly! Just finished feeding the dogs and the PoiBoiz, and tidying up the kitchen, filling my overnight water bottIe (I go through all 32 oz through the night); hope you had a good day today, and if you are starting your weekend tonight, then YAY!! October 17, 2025 @ 12:47 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Yup, late again today...that's just how it goes at times right? I went to bed very early last night and of the 14 hours I was there, I was sleeping for 12 of them! Anyway, got my morning 3+1 done, visited my happy place first since it was after 11:00 by the time I got out here with my coffee. (It is called The Morning Brigade and though people do post there at other times of the day, my brain tells me - in no uncertain terms - that if I can't get my morning greeting up by noon, not to even bother...that's me, not the group, talking!) So I've been working on my stuff, doing some meme hunting, and Pete & I had some things to discuss, and I'm now here. Today and tomorrow have to be recovery days so I won't be out and about or doing much physical stuff, I really don't want to have to miss church on Sunday just because I've been pushing myself all week! That would be SO not cool! I do plan to spend quality time with my T5 and the PoiBoiz, to do what is necessary on my sites, and to cook a meal. So not much to share here as far as plans but who knows, God may have other ideas :). I'll let you know tonight! Nov 4, 2025 @ 09:30 Good morning family & friends❣️ Woke up earlier today. I am hoping to get caught up on emails and comments today, so got some things out of the way this morning; still will be adding a new story to Don's newest page, will do that in a little while, after I visit my "happy place". No other plans but my day will surely fill up as they all do, one way or another. Gorgeous sunny day, expected high of 59°F, maybe I'll get out to do a Sherry Shares video of the garden and yard since it's been cleaned up for the year, haven't been able to do those much lately but I love doing them and miss it. Pete has an appointment in Saginaw later, not sure if I will go with or not, as we have an electrical issue with the car (driveable but not legal), and HoWie isn't really driveable with his window smashed out. Pete's having a lot of pain today so not sure if he will be able to board it up...anyway, we'll see what the day holds! Dec 7, 2025 @ 13:29 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ It looks like a bright day outside but with the curtains and blinds closed I'm not sure if the sun is out. Looks like we'll get a little snow with temps in the upper 20s today. I don't think I'm going anywhere. Pete and Leelan went to church. I want to "use" my new pain pill to see if it can allow me to go back but want my first time trying it to be while I am at home since I tend to have...um...unpredictable reactions at times to such things! Anyway, I finished playing through my 2nd "new" modern hymnal yesterday, so now I will work on the next stage, probably with the 1st book, one song at a time. And will be able to record them as I go now that my camera is set up again after the latest rearrange. Since this year I'm not able to do as much I'm thinking I will repost some of my recordings from past years for Christmas instead, unless I am divinely inspired to do otherwise. Either way this week recordings will begin again, about which I'm excited! I do plan to do some posting today as well, but we will see if I will be awake enough to do so 🙄😏. At any rate, Don's Guest Post will definitely be going up later! Dec 25, 2025 @ 20:21 Good evening family & friends❣️ I hope you have been having a joyous celebration of Jesus' birth today whether with family or friends or Him, in your own heart! I know I had a lovely afternoon with my family, they are so fun and I just love being with them so much! Casey sure did right by me, giving me a son-in-law I adore and grandkids that are pure delight! And Casey herself...well...I can't imagine what I must have done to deserve an amazing daughter like her... Anyway, I will talk more about everything tomorrow, for tonight I'm in a twizzy (or something, I can't think of the word), and ready for bed but it was a great day. I just finished getting today's blog stuff done so I can do that, Pete is going to take care of the poi boiz for me. We're supposed to have an ice storm tomorrow, so the generator is all gassed up, plus the gas can is full, and our EcoFlow is full, so we're as ready as we can be for that if we lose power. Dec 26, 2025 @ 19:55 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well another day for the books! I slept through most of it (no surprise there, eh?), after being up for a couple of hours very early. Not remembering what I did but I'm sure it was something 🤦♀️. We didn't go anywhere as it was so icy, we probably wouldn't have even made it across our porch, as you can see from the photos below (if you are reading this on my site chia.owly.net). It was a very gray day, not sure what tomorrow will be like but I won't be going anywhere then either so I suppose it doesn't matter. I remembered later in the day that it wasn't Saturday - I had mentioned Caturday in this morning's update - so I caught myself in time to put up Friday Funnies instead. So that was good. I guess I can't think of what else to say, so I will talk to you in the morning. Jan 24, 2026@14:50 (!) Good afternoon family & friends❣️ I've been working on my updates/posts here while Zoey (she is so darling, so polite, I just love her!) works on the house. We've done a couple of 2-person jobs together as well, she's just finishing up the back of the house right now. I plan to spend the rest of the day at my keyboard (or as long as I can manage) but first I want to check what is going on with this storm, especially for my bestie Heidi in MO, my dear sister-in-Christ Cathy in OH, Gwen & Don in KY, and my niece - their younger daughter - Olivia in one of the Carolinas, can never remember which...although I don't think the storm is there yet but I want to check. The other beloved friend I always check on, Annette, is north of the storm, as are we, but also dealing with historically cold temperatures. I am going to make a chili-dog-in-a-bowl for myself today, ever since I watched Hope (Mission Hope: https://www.youtube.com/@MissionHope316 (she's fantastic, does health, food, fitness, planners, etc. and has an adorable dog named Ralphie, check her out!) make some a few days ago. I'll make a regular chili for Pete. I'm going to add a little keto pasta to my bean-less version, and Pete will have pasta and beans in his. Anyway, I can't wait to eat.
