@StevenDouglas Again, a story brought to life with carefully chosen and arranged word-pictures. Always a pleasure and honor to get visual glimpses into your life. Your mother instinctively mitigated your trauma (potential PTSD?) in her compassionate/vulnerable reaction. She validated your pain and fear. She accomplished this using every one of your senses. She showed 👀 HER emotions, used warm🌡towels and hugs 🫂, spoke 🗣soothing words👂& listened, made delicious smelling👃and tasting 😋 cocoa.

@watch4thedrop @Debbie742 NOT true. My friend - who besides having dermatomyositis (a VERY bad autoimmune disease) has many other risk factors (pre-diabetes, heart conditions, obesity, etc). She was told unequivocally NOT to take the "vaccine" by her board certified Reumatologist. He said it would likely kill her. She's on hydroxychloroquine as a preventative. She can't tolerate most drugs but does fine on this. It's been around for about 6 decades and is over the counter in many countries.

@watch4thedrop @Debbie742 Really? Wow...are you a doctor? She can't tolerate a bandaid...it puts her into anaphylactic shock. Be careful giving medical advice, please.

@watch4thedrop @Debbie742 Even doctors shouldn't tell someone to take a drug or vaccine without consulting with the patient and reviewing their medical records. You are licensed. You should know the law. I'm not antivax. My kids were vaccinated in the 80's and 90's. Grandiose insistence of safety by someone with a pharmacy degree can sway lay people into dangerous decisions. Leave them to the doctor/patient relationship. You might avoid being sued. I'm not trying to be mean...just prudent.

@EarlThePearls @AllForHim @watch4thedrop @Debbie742 Your defense of Drop is too generous. Re-read Drop's post.My friend is very careful. She does her homework - we both do. We research & compose questions. It's sad/disgusting how some doctors are offended by them. She'd be dead if it weren't for our questions...Being your own advocate is so important. Medical "professionals" who condescend, mock, discourage or get huffy over questions should not have patient contact.

@EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop @Debbie742 The "doctor of Pharmacy " degree is even MORE reason I'm appalled by parts of the post. Mocking and condescending questions is only one reason...

@EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop @Debbie742 @AllForHim I absolutely don't think Drop is trying "to give bad advice" but they absolutely are. I've just seen how dangerous it is when professionals do this. Drop should revise the post.Advocating a doctor should not tell a patient with autoimmune disease NOT to have the vaccine is misuse of credentials. Sometimes we get carried away with enthusiasm or make a mistake...a revision is all I'd like to see. That would be professional.

@EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop @Debbie742 I'm not an expert. I've advocated for myself and many others saving my own life and my friend's. 1st- a doc discontinued her antibiotics for sepsis & 2nd I diagnosed a punctured lung. The entire staff assured us her pain was from surgery. I insisted on an xray. They wanted to send her home! I have a BS in biology, 8 yrs pharmaceutical experience and found my own cure for my cancer in '93. I studied law on my own and beat 5 IRS lawyers in their own court.

@EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop @Debbie742 @AllForHim I don't claim to "always" be right. When I'm wrong I am happy to apologize and correct my mistake. That's all I ask of @watch4the drop . How am reading minds? I simply repeated quotes verbatim or paraphrased and pointed out the mocking of questions, etc. Tell me where I am wrong and I will apologize or retract.

@watch4thedrop @Debbie742 Your words about patients with autoimmune immune issues that triggered my initial response:"they shouldn't be recommended to not take the vaccine. It is a risk/benefit analysis and your physicians will recommend you to get vaccinated regardless of that condition. " I said this wasn't true and it isn't.
