@ricci @david_chisnall @brewsterkahle There was a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan that used the coolant waste heat to desalinate water. It ran for more than 20 years. But the irony is that thermal desalinization is very inefficient; it’s actually more efficient to dump the waste heat and use the generated electricity to run a reverse osmosis plant. @Nonilex Of course, rationale, effectiveness, and consequences are not any part of the strategy here. The whole point was to be able to make a statement with the words powerful and lethal. Who got killed, why, and what will happen next are immaterial to this team.Pretty soon they’ll just make the announcements and post synthetic videos of explosions without bothering to drop the bombs. Because the posturing is the point.
