#Walking #NewcastleNSW #Meteor ☄️ 👟👟👀On tonight's walk with my son at Newcastle Harbour, we saw a Meteor streak in an east to west direction - felt like it was so close. I wasn't fast enough to capture it because it burnt out in seconds but it looked pretty amazing.

@MsDropbear42 Droppie, I'm still reeling from the damage they did to my timber deck while I was out one day. We have had a local gang of Sulphur crested criminals visiting recently. I seemed to be going through a Mary Poppins phase and so I responded with kindness, smiles and gifts of sunflower seeds which they seemed to appreciate(or possibly expect). A small splinter had developed in my handrail which I noticed one morning. I had to go out for a few hours and when I returned there were huge amounts of timber gouged out of the deck and splinters of timber everywhere. Clearly if they don't get their gifts on time they get pretty spiteful. So now they are met with a spray bottle of water I keep handy to deter them, but they don't easily leave. They're incredibly bossy, confident and pretty rude as visitors go. They get short shrift from me now I'm afraid. Life is full of lessons I guess. I will have to love them from a distance. 💔 :blobcatfacepalm:
