@UptownGirl @Lori But we don't want to make the site a closed universe - all we want to do is break even and we are hoping that enough people value this unique place that we can raise a modest $200 per month to cover costs.

Hi Everyone - I hope you are all enjoying the holidays! I've been a bit out of communication - in Bogota, Colombia right now visiting my mother-in-law!! Just a quick status update - we are now at 75% of our goal of $200 per month in subscriptions. Things are looking very good and we just need about $50 more per month to make it over the finish line. I have to say that I feel like one of those annoying PBS fundraisers so please help us out and spare me having to do this much more :) :) :).

MORNING UPDATE:Dear FA Family - while I didn't mean my update last night as a fund-raising attempt and certainly not as a guilt-trip for anyone, I am happy to say that some new donations and subscriptions started to roll in last night and early this morning. We are now up to 40% of our subscription goal, so let's keep this conversation going until January 20th and we will see where we stand. So let's set a goal of having the site fully funded by January 20th, 2025 (just a random date that I picked). I will post updates every day or two between now and then - the main focus is to have monthly subscriptions so that we can all rest easy, but anything we get will keep us going. @Andre The key has to be to focus on what actions can be meaningful and accomplish something vs which are just distractions. Examples - do I want to see Fauci, Clinton, Obama, Schiff, Cheney, etc. in jail - yes, certainly, but which is more important - that or the end of the FED and restoration of sound money? I'll take sound money for the rest my life and for the people I love and be happy knowing that even if we don't, God will take care of these characters all in good time...

@CarolEmmarie @Andre We just need to very carefully consider what is the most in our self-interest. I do think that some high profile figures need to do time in order to set an example and discourage future bad behavior, but I also think that we need to select objectives with the standard of value being making America a better and more just nation. With this said, we do need to put an end to people thinking of people like Obama as heroes and be sure the they realize what scum they truly are!!!

I will prepare an exact accounting over the next week of all expenses, balances, etc., but I think that we are safely out of the water now because we did receive a few generous one time donations too!!

@Andre @Phil It would be easy to just pick a number on a hunch, but I'm trying to think a bit deeper than that. The real issue is that people are realizing that paper currency is losing value rapidly, so if we have hyper inflation then gold may be 1,000,000 but it will not be relevant to today's discussion. I'm thinking that what is happening is a response to uncertainty and that once things become more stable, the wheel will stop wherever it is (cont'd)

@Andre @Phil So when will things become more stable - I'm thinking that they will, but that we have quite a crazy year ahead of us. The market has already shown that it can run silver up $40+ and gold up $1,000+ in just one month this year so I'm thinking / hoping that they will go up to about $10k / $250 over the course of this year and then stabilize. I'm also hoping that we get a currency that is pegged to them at that point and trying to imagine how that could happen...
