@Lonestar I remember this, because of the new fangled “guns” they used to administer it. This was the Swine Flu. I don’t remember if my folks got me a shot or not, or if as a 10 year old I was supposed to get one. I do remember having some bad flus back then (Late 70’s). Really Nasty.

@SusanInVA Unfortunately, the DOJ, like all Federal agencies, has been politicized. There will be no prosecutions. Fauci is part of the club. Unless he pisses someone else in the club off, he will not be investigated, much less indicted.

@SusanInVA I generally ignore these kinds of articles, regardless of which party POTUS is in. Didn’t the press give Trump a hard time for going to Mar-a-lago? Or Obama for golfing in Hawaii a lot? Or Bush for going to his ranch in Crawford? We all know Brandon is incompetent. It doesn’t matter where he’s being incompetent.

Maybe it’s warranted here? If I buy a product from a company, am I to be compelled to buy all services and replacement parts for it from that company alone? In many cases, I’ve been able to repair or modify things I bought through a third party. I think that’s a perfectly reasonable thing to do, and consumers have always been able to do this. Some companies seem to want to stop this practice.

@StevenDouglas @Debradelai I have an old iPad and an old MacBook that are still functional, except that the software updates for them are no longer supported. I don’t mind if they stop updating the software, but when they update the software such that it makes the old hardware unusable, well…that seems oppressive. I’ve relegated the old iPad and MacBook to very simple uses, but the iPad can’t even open certain websites anymore.
