I don't understand. Both sides said THIS was the most critical election is the history of mankind.In 2020, there were reportedly 81,284,000 votes for one candidate and 74,224,000 votes for the other, for a total of 155,500,000 votes.This time we have 67m and 72m for a total of 139,000,000 votes in the most important election in history. So over 15,000,000 votes fewer... 10% less people voted in 2020 than 2024? How the hell is that possible? More voter reform than they told us, maybe.

@eriner I haven't been around pigs since I was 10. Cattle either... haven't been around chickens since 15.So I'm definitely not any sort of expert. From my memory, if they are hungry at all, and they see something they want outside the fence, then THEY are outside the fence. I think Joel Salatan's method of moving the pen is the way to go though. It might be a bit more work in some ways... but at least there's no sh!t to shovel. If/when it's time for me to homestead, tht's wht I'll do

@sickburnbro he should immediately commute any sentences and pardon any non-violent charges from Jan 6.Then let a committee review the rest individually and make a recommendation. I say this because the Dems have been saying it was a violent, armed insurrection. By pardoning any non-violent charges, that immediately points out numbers as to how many even had any allegations of violence. @sickburnbro after pardoning all those, you might be left with a few actually violent actors (I don't know). If so, those people probably actually do need to be punished. But it has to be real. And there has to be video of it... not reports from someone. There have been too many lies all the way through to take anyone's word for anything at this point.

@sickburnbro that's valid. our legal system to supposed to be based on it being better to let 100 guilty people go free than to punish 1 innocent person... at least according to the same ones putting criminal trespass charges on citizens inside a public/government building.So yeah, I'd say I could be convinced to just pardon them all. But I would still do it in 2 stages for the optics mentioned earlier.

@sickburnbro This should be taken further. It's not just the info but also the people. When you find that what you thought is wrong, you need to go back to where you "learned" that. Whoever taught you that nugget of BS deserves no trust in the future, or at the very minimum, more scrutiny.For instance, I want the names of those "leading economists" who said high government spending does not cause inflation. They are not to be trusted.
