@stux On cost, solar, wind, battery, geothermal all win. Shouldn't be shutting down perfectly operational nuclear prematurely. The timeline for new nuclear might be a bit long for the right now, but is still a good solution for countries with limited space for wind / solar.Lowest hanging fruit is rooftop solar everywhere, offshore wind for better utilisation. Energy efficiency can be massive on it's own. And if course EVs as grid storage.Then For the hard to solve places nuclear might make more sense.All these are engineering problems that can be solved, but it requires people to put away the sacred cows and work the problem.
