@christopher @Ductos I nearly voted for this one, but I wanted my saddest one to be an episode I loved. This episode just makes me angry. Tuvix is a new life form (you know that thing that is one of Starfleet’s founding principles), and Janeway acts as judge, jury and executioner and murders him. Tuvix gets not one single advocate, he gets no "trial". Not one person stands up for him. When he tries to defend himself, Janeway just guilt-trips him. No, I can't forgive Janeway, either.

@stux I know we shouldn't believe what we see on TV, but I always see high school kids driving massive, shiny, brand-new, expensive cars.My parents helped me with lessons, but I had to pay half. They wouldn't have bought me a car, though. The driving test in the USA is quite shockingly easy, apparently. (I can't believe in some states they allow 14 yr olds to drive!)

@stux It should be hard like it is in the UK. You're driving a ton or more of very powerful metal at speed, and can also drive small lorries up to a certain size. It ain't just about going from A to B, it's all about hazard perception. It's why American's can't handle British or European roads. They get confused by roundabouts.

@stux As a nurse, I find the US healthcare system morally repugnant. I could never work in a hospital in a country where this shit happens. Where people go bankrupt or are literally not treated if they don't have the money or correct insurance. Where machines are turned off because of money. Where they take your insurance details before treating you.I think it's against the Hippocratic Oath.

How often do we hear that "Britain is pretty tolerant of LGBTQ+ issues"?Except I've just done a YouGov poll which showed 52% were against school children being taught about LGBTQ+ issues and the comments were generally intolerant and ignorant with a few being blatantly homophobic and transphobic.
