A powerful advantage of Jails: Native resource limiting. You can truly dedicate CPU and memory to a specific Bastille container without the bulk of hardware emulation. Performance and security combined. #FreeBSD #BastilleBSD

Feeling hesitant about moving to a new OS or container strategy? Don't let fear of the unknown stop you. Start small—try Bastille on a VM this week. Sometimes the biggest security gains come from the smallest decisions. #MotivationMonday #FreeBSD #BastilleBSD

#TriviaTuesdayDid you know that the very first version of Bastille was published to GitHub on Apr 6, 2018?That's about three years after the last release of ezjail and (unknowingly) about a year before the final commit to iocage.Software is almost always created to solve a problem. My problem was that ezjail was no longer maintained and too few of my tiny systems could use iocage due to the hard dependence on ZFS.Looking back it all seems inevitable.#FreeBSD #BastilleBSD #TechHistory
