@grammargirl Have you ever tried turning on voice to text and then playing the show to see how much it picks up? I'm going to try that with something I was in to see if I can get the raw version.

@grammargirl I type like the wind so I also wonder if it's worth it to go through the pain of cleanup. I can't quite keep up with human speech but if I pause it every so often I can be pretty efficient.

@clive @lkanies I work for systemic change so I don't disagree that it's what we need. In the meantime I ride seeking not to let a driver hit and kill me. The two goals aren't in conflict.

Boost if you don't want to die/ don't want to kill on the road. A part of my job that doesn't show: Every week I look at stats on serious injuries/fatalities and know that they're still going up. Comparing them to the previous year doesn't bring comfort even if a particular month is a little lower. Especially true in late Dec.: long dark days and New Year's Eve coming. @OpenComputeDesign Oh dear oh dear, I've been there. It was hell to get my dad to stop driving when he was no longer safe. My siblings and I didn't want to stand at the graveside of somebody he killed. DMV should not be enabling, they should be upholding the actual requirements for a license! So sorry that's what you're dealing with. I have more thoughts on aging parents if you're interested.
