       @CSB The SE8’s sensitivity is a few dB louder than that of the SE7, so in the sense of required amplification it has a better specification.SE8’s self noise is 3dB lower than the sE7 so it has a quieter self noise. For your application of voice calls, both of these slight benefits in technical performance will be negligible.

       @Darren @CSB If he’s going to be naked, what is he going to click the lav mic onto…..Nevermind, don’t answer that because I won’t like any of the answers. If he wants to use a lav mic for a podcast, he’s going to have to adjust his expectations because the audio will be insanely different from a standard broadcast microphone.

       Hey @Darren and @thatlarryshow, the watch Biden was checking was his Omega Seamaster Divers 300. This is a luxury mechanical watch and does not have any form of chime, alarm, or notification. The watch has no function that would grab his attention. This means he was just being disrespectful by checking his watch at that moment.

       @realcaseyrollins @gocu54 the original blue yeti does not require any kind of proprietary software. The yeti nano and the yeti X can be used without software, but to get any of the processing functionality you would need to use Logitech proprietary software.

       @adam @csb yes sir. That is the AEA KU5A. It&#39;s an active supercardioid ribbon mic. It has a very healthy output because of the active electronics so it avoids the common Ribbon mic issue of being too quiet. And it&#39;s also supercardioid, so fewer issues comb filtering on the rear lobe of sensitivity indoors. But it still offers that rich and smooth ribbon sound.
