My call as a diocesan priest is to serve a certain diocese in whatever legitimate way the bishop of the diocese sees fit. I cannot become a lone wolf - my ministry extends from my bishop. To rededicate my life to something else would require me no longer being a diocesan priest.

To dedicate your life to pro-life work is admirable & Pavone has certainly put in more time and effort for the movement than many of the rest of us put together. But losing sight of what he was actually *ordained for* is a problem and is ultimately what got him in his situation.
