@Glastomichelle weather variations bring you unexpected beauty always. for me the best view of colorful hills was right after a sudden downpour, which i tried to avoid in an old house that leaked in every square foot of the place.

@Glastomichelle do you have inversions in that area? with the hill there and looking towards the valley, i wonder if that darker area over the lighter area might be an inversion. we have them here frequently downtown. they hold all the smog from the night before down until the sun warms up the area.
