@fribbledom I've never liked it. I'm not even a huge fan of plain C. I don't know why, exactly. Maybe the aesthetics of the syntax contribute. To be fair, I'm mostly a sysadmin, so I'm writing tools, and scripting languages seem better suited. These days it's mostly python for me.

@Arielbnz It's got a bit of a Sisters of Mercy vibe. Not bad. I like the main riff quite a bit.

@fribbledom Pascal - are you sure you want to do that? Really sure? I think this way is safer. C - whoo-hoo! I trust you, what could go wrong? This'll be fun!

#JohnMastodon not really #medievalist St John of MastodonPre-congregation(Feast day 16 December)Patron Saint of Copyists, Scribes, and by extension networks and distributed platformsJohn was a 6th century abbot whose monastary was a center for distribution of small manuscripts by pigeon to other monastaries where people could read them if they wanted to. His miracles include slaying a blue-winged bird monster, speaking all known languages, and CWs.He was martyred by dogpiling.

@CliffWade @EighthLayer It is a, perhaps, ironic comment on the fact that none of the options given included 'in the CW' which is fairly common place that many mastodon users put hashtags. By not mention CWs at all, it is erasing CW usage from the discourse, which is something worth noting.Does that explain my comment sufficiently?

@ZachWeinersmith 'Young' is often used as a generic. 'The wildebeest and their young,' etc.Or is that not what you are looking for?

In related news, the top two cheese metal songs of all time are, in a complete tie:The Darkness and Lordihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKjZuykKY1Ihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6Xl9tBWt54I wish to be absolutely clear, 'cheese metal' is in no way a derogatory term. These songs kick seven different, specific, kinds of ass.
