@redwhitebluedude @SueZee I started to read the article, then stopped. I just can't finish it. How can people be so evil?I don't know about psychological screening (who can we trust with THAT? does it include assessing political views?) but I have some clear ideas about appropriate punishments for men and women who abuse children (hint: no long prison terms involved).

I do.It could be regional too, since I have not lived everywhere in the U.S.A.This to me is similar to our acceptance of conservative voting zones being designated (by you-know-whose media) "red" and left-leaning zones being called "blue". Older folks KNOW that red is the color of commies and their fellow travellers. (History knows too.) Leftists know that words matter. Conservatives rarely balk at the encroachments.
