       Mad at #ieee and #computerSociety again!Need to read an #icse13 article. IEEE DL wants me to pay $$$ for reading.  No thanks.Of course, I'm also a member of computer.org subsociety! They have a separate digital library, and the same article for free!        ChatGPT 5 has now a scholar "flavor" that it tried to lure me into. It is somehow based on sider.ai. It offered to find me some papers on a topic.  It came back with 10 papers. Eight were clearly on a different topic.  Two did not exist. So far so good :) Still useless.

       bye bye #duolingo.  Today I am killling a 3+ year long streak, as agreed with my connection with whom I had a shared streak (so it was not nice to simply kill it until we both agree this is the time).  Besides the growing concerns about low pedagogical value of duolingo and the growing ethical concerns with duolingo, I simply want to learn a bit of Slovak - but duolingo does not support it.   All in all: enough reasons to stop.
