A supervisor of mine did this to a co-worker. She kept stealing his food that was labeled as his. She called off the next 3 days. Since he had his name on it, there was nothing hr or management could do.

Imagine a sports team that fails miserably. They draft highly touted prospects only to see them go undeveloped and injured because of a lack of athletic training. They finish the season in last place but don't change the front office or coaches. It's kind of hard to get excited for that number 1 overall pick again knowing the same people that fucked up the last prospects are going to be in charge of the next.
