I should add my first Boorman film was Excalibur. I was 13 and deeply into D&D and Arthurian legend stuff. I manipulated my mother into taking me. Even though it was rated R. It *blew* my pedestrian mind. The costumes. The atmosphere. The feral weirdness of it all. Zardoz is in a similar vein.

What I’m hearing about Thiel & cronies’ role in the SVB crash sounds like another instance of how multi-billionaires are essentially potential Bond Villains but they don’t need a doomsday device beyond their own greed … they can do enormous damage just by weaponizing finance.

Frustratingly, this article and others like it are already two years old … and all that’s happened is WHO and CDC have quietly updated website copy to reflect these factors, but no substantial announcements or strongly updated guidelines. Hence the vague in-between we currently experience, where most people have no clue.
