@stux Just FYI, 'Safety Stop' laws in many localities (e.g. Colorado) allow cyclists to proceed through a red light. Also, traffic lights only exist because cars are dangerous. People on bikes and on foot do not need traffic signals, except to protect them from people in cars.Also also, Jaywalking is a made-up offence created by the auto industry to shame pedestrians and allow drivers to injure, maim, and kill with impunity.

@stux Am with you on cars running red lights though. It is almost endemic in my town. I ride with cameras and report to police every time I see it.

Well, different for customers vs. employees vs. investors vs. competitors. But I think there are good reasons for all to be hopeful. An AVGO/VMW that is profitable, sustainable, innovative, durable, is good for investors, for customers, for employees. I'm an enterprise guy, so take me with a grain of salt, but I'm bullish for all stakeholders in this one. I don't know which you are, but I hope it is awesome for you.

This ends pooorly, coz it pushes out your best people - who can easily find a new job.e.g. @Broadcom, whose CEO declared no remote work at $AVGO, big shock to incoming @VMware teams. I suspect attrition is the point, but expect it will not push out the staff they want it to.
