Folks, and I do mean this politely or at least as politely as I can muster after the past 10 years of trying to have meaningful discussions with folks who can't agree on what reality is, and how the world works.I have never once cared about what YOU define as "politics in America" and I've spent a lifetime studying fascism, capitalism, and the murders necessary for the fuckbarrel to continue. Important Ninaverse update:So, yesterday evening I got the great idea to make tacos; who doesn't love tacos? Anyway, at one point I needed to grate some cheese, and we store our cheese grater on one of the higher shelves, because it's too tall (I have one of those four sided stainless steel ones) for our shelves, so I have to lay it sideways, which means it takes up more room. Anyways, as I reached up for the cheese grater, something in my back went "pop" and immediately started spasming. I had to call in the BF to actually grate the cheese because the downward motion was agonizing. I managed to finish dinner, eat it, and after some squirming, found a position in my office chair that allowed whatever went apeshit in my back to settle down... figured I'd dodged the bullet. (ct)

Then, I went to bed, and as soon as I laid down, I started feeling the spot in my back again. So this required way more squirming until I finally found a position that didn't hurt, didn't vibrate/spasm and I fell asleep.Woke up this morning and that spot in my back is incredibly sore, but that's not all because the odd position I took while sleeping has put a crimp in my neck and fused the muscles into a solid tube of immovable tension. I'm walking around with painful giraffe neck. (ct)

First of all, these folks aren't under some sort of magic spell. They have ALWAYS been like this, and the reason you didn't know is that they felt they had to keep that hidden from you - they certainly haven't kept it hidden from marginalized people or folks who fight them in the streetsBut more disturbingly, feels to me like your problem isn't that they think this, it's that they're saying it out loud in your presence now. And that makes me question your usefulness in the war against fascism.
