There is zero chance that someone with President Donald J. Trump does not have a very thorough, sophisticated plan. This plan anticipated many scenarios, weighing the probability of each. I have no idea how this will play out, but I know it is not over. If I didn’t know from him, I would know it by how his enemies are acting right now. @RockyRoad they are making it challenging! Our power was our vote and the right to protest. We have lost one and are about to lose the other. We need to inform ourselves and educate others. I believe there is more to come from President Trump.

@timr if they need an economic downturn, we will have one. It seems as if this is one of their goals. My biggest concern is the federalizations of voting regulations. Trump supporters would have zero voice on social media, texts, protests and votes. Democrats could then go hog wild (er).

@timr are you certain HR1 will not pass? If Manchin gives in?Though I agree that normally an economic downturn would be avoided by any current administration, I was referring to if they did pass HR1. We lose our voting rights (in essence) in that case. Then normal scenarios do not apply.
