       My top advice for #twittermigration folks looking to build an audience on #mastodon:👉 Show up! Fill out your profile (yes you can copy your bio from the bird app) and post a few starter toots with what to expect from you👉 Hashtags are a great way to find users outside your community. Be specific to your interests too👉 Engage. Reply to toots!! Go out of your way to find people with mutual interests.        Some easy tips I've used to grow a following on #Mastodon:1️⃣ Make the first move! Use the follow button generously (you can easily unfollow later to clear up your home timeline)2️⃣ Ask questions and post Toots people will want to boost 🔁 Useful info, something relatable, cats!3️⃣ Recognise it takes time.
