@adamasnemesis for real, THIS. Until there's some non-car way of getting from an arbitrary point A to an arbitrary point B _100 miles away_, with an arbitrary amount of cargo and passengers, I don't know what the plan is for "planning for people, not cars". unless you want to pick up all the buildings and move them closer together?

"hey this would be simple and neat, why have I never done this on a windows 10 installtion?" -me*tries* *fails* *searches internet*"by default windows 10 disables this feature, to re-enable it..." over and over and over. I want to wake my work laptop remotely and/or on a schedule - well, windows sets the default "turn off" action to "turn not actually off" and plasters "we don't recommend this nooo don't do it T__T" all over, and wake on lan from "fast startup" (read: when you tell it to turn off and it refuses) is unsupported. also putting the computer to sleep via script is disabled if hibernate is enabled. also "wake timers" are turned off by default.why. why do you work so hard to disable things? so much work has clearly been done to _remove_ existing features.

you know how big companies (with lots of computing hardware on hand, rapidly approaching obsolescence) are pushing (hard) for "cloud gaming"?...dude, someone tell them to sell the hardware. because if not for the infinite payment model (and laws of physics), i would love to have my own damn cloud gaming solution in my own damn house, to be used with untethered VR.

@adamasnemesis I'm curious what your prompt is. As a warframe nerd, I imagine you said "hotel room prime"

@adamasnemesis bars.i propose a compromise: quote-unquote ""socialism"", as pushed by Mamdani, is a step in the right direction. yeah?...semi-related, """reason""" magazine calls it a "*troubling* rise". lmao
